About: This is a catalogue produced to accompany a major public exhibition of Irish Silver at Russborough House which was launched on 13^th August, 1979. The collection was loaned for six years to the Alfred Beit Foundation by Mr. Kurt Ticher, who also wrote an article for the catalogue. In all, the display comprised 120 different pieces manufactured between 1680 and 1820.
